Billing is meant to be predictable. Here's exactly how your renewal date is set and what shows up on an invoice.
Where to find your invoices
Every invoice, past and upcoming, lives in your account's Billing section, along with your current payment method and renewal date for each service.
What sets your renewal date
Your billing cycle is fixed at signup, monthly or annual, and your renewal date always falls on that same day going forward. An annual plan purchased on March 3rd renews every March 3rd, an invoice is generated ahead of that date, and we'll email a reminder before it's charged.
Upgrading mid-cycle
If you upgrade partway through a billing period, you're only charged the price difference for the remaining days in that period, not a full new charge. Your renewal date itself doesn't change.
If a payment fails
A failed charge doesn't suspend your account immediately. You'll get an email, and there's a grace period to update your payment method or complete payment manually before any service interruption. Update your payment details from the Billing section at any time.
