Packages are the resource templates you assign when creating client accounts, disk space, bandwidth, email limits, and which features are turned on. Building your own tiers means your pricing maps directly to what WHM enforces.
Open Add a Package
In WHM, go to Packages → Add a Package.
Name it clearly
Use something you'll recognize later, like client-starter or agency-25gb, the name is internal only, clients never see it.
Set the resource limits
Disk quota, monthly bandwidth, and caps on email accounts, databases, subdomains, and FTP accounts all live here. Leave a field blank for unlimited.
Choose the feature list
This is also where you decide whether accounts on this package get shell access. Leave it off for non-technical clients, turn it on for developer clients who've asked for it.
Save and start assigning it
The new package is now available in the dropdown any time you create a client account.
Editing a package later
Modify a Package lets you change limits after the fact. There's a checkbox to also apply the change to existing accounts on that package, leave it unchecked if you only want the new limits to apply going forward.
